I'm really struggling to find the correct information, so I'm hoping someone on here can help. I am from the UK but now live in France and have French residency. As part of my residency agreement in France I had to complete an S1. I still work in the UK and spend too much time in the UK to be considered non-resident. My UK job is PAYE so I am still paying tax and NI in the UK. As a cross-border worker, who has already paid more than 35 years of NI in the UK, can I apply to stop paying NI in the UK? If I can, how do I do this?
