Pension extra contributions

Good morning I paid my extra contributions in July. When I login to my account it is still saying the amount is owing. My pension predicted is still saying the same. When will this be updated? Thank you

It can take up to 6 weeks for your payment of voluntary National Insurance contributions to be reflected on your Personal Tax Account.  If you made your payment more than 6 weeks ago and it’s not shown on your Personal Tax Account then you may wish to call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will check to see if it’s recorded.  You may wish to have details of your payment handy when you call just in case they are needed.

We have tried calling this number but cannot get through. Is there another number to call from Ireland or an email address? Thank you

Hi, I am still trying to ring through to you office from Ireland. I am on hold now over 20 minutes. I made this transfer online that is still not appearing. I also made the mistake of sending it in euros rather than sterling. So I need to send more. How do I do this and get it sorted to see how much is left to pay? Thank you, Emmet

Just a quick update. I finally got through and was told I had to ring HRMC and am now on hold again with them. Dreadful

Got through to HMRC after holding for 50minutes! The money has been allocated to my account but could be up to 42 weeks before it gets approved and posted!
