I live and work abroad and have completed form CF83. I have received a response over the phone and I understand how to construct a payment reference: NI + "CI" + SURNAME + INITIAL (up to 18 chars). I will make the payment to the following bank account: 08-32-20 / 12001004 account name: HMRC NIC receipts ref: NN112233NCISMYTHEA My shortfall payments are a mix of Class 2 and Class 3 spanning back to 2006-07. Can I simply sum up the total and make a single payment? Thanks in advance...

Hi,
Though this shouldn’t be an issue we adviser our customers to send in payments for class 2 and class 3 through separate transfers. This helps aid with the allocation process of your payments to your record.
Thank you.
