State Pension increases on 7th April 2025 but increase only paid from 9th April 2025

I received a letter today saying that my State Pension will increase by 4.1% from 7th April 2025. I receive my pension weekly. The letter goes on to say that I will receive a payment on 15th April covering the period from 9th - 15th April. (1) There is nothing to say about 7th and 8th April. (2) I thought the tax year started on 6th April and the increase would come into effect on the 6th not the 7th.
