I have 48 full years of national insurance contributions and on reading information on this, I should be receiving higher rate state pension as i meet the criteria. this should be £24 pounds a month? Is there a reason I will not receive the higher rate? Grateful for any advice/help

Unfortunately, HMRC are unable to answer questions about your state pension entitlement. Please contact the Department for Work and Pensions on 0800 731 0175. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
