Hello After a prolonged 4 month wait, HMRC have confimred i have been creditd with 11 years of contributions due to missing HRP. I have been in receipt of the odl style basic state pension since Septmber 2008. I have today contacted the pension service to tell them of this change, to be told the matter has now been notified to a case handler, My questions are: 1.) My pension should be increased to the max? (I was previously under required years, I am now over) 2.) Will i get a backdate for all the udner payments to Sept 2008 and will there will be interest with it ? 3.) Given this could possibly take me over the income tax threshold will this be offset against my unsused threhold for the years I was underpaid? Kind regards Thank you
