Hi, I have an MCI error due to having two national insurance numbers. I’ve contacted the help line multiple times for more then a year now and they always say that someone is going to take a look but to no avail. What can I do? I just want to have access to my account

Hi Pedroribeiro,
If you have contacted us about this already, it should be being dealt with and I am sorry that this has not been clarified when you called.
For your reference, I am afraid that the area who would deal with a matter such as this are currently dealing with work received in March 2023.
I would suggest you call the helpline again and ask if your query has been noted and is waiting to be looked at, at this stage you can also ascertain when it was ‘logged’ and from this you will be able to ascertain roughly when it will be dealt with.
Alternatively, you can write to the following address –
NI Account Correction Team
HM Revenue and Customs
National Insurance Contributions and Employer Office
BX9 1AN
Thank you.
