Hello there, I have moved to the UK from Hong Kong in July 2021 and I have been working for a Hong Kong employer remotely in the UK since 1 April 2023 as a full time employee. My questions are as follows: 1) My understanding is that I need to contribute national insurance based on this foreign employment income in Hong Kong. Is it correct? 2) Such foreign employment income should be reported via Self Assessment Form SA100 and SA102, but not SA106. Is it correct? 3) How can NI contributions be made? Is it via applying for DCNI or DPNI scheme in the UK? 4) I read somewhere in the forum (https://community.hmrc.gov.uk/customerforums/payepe/ccd0ca78-b058-ee11-a81c-0022480003c7) that NI contributions could be collected via Self Assessment and it is not required to applying for DCNI or DPNI. Is it correct? Thank you.
