Response times to CF83

Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me how long it took to get a response from HMRC after submitting your CF83? A nice lady at the DfWP said it could take a year! I nearly fell off my chair! Is this fanciful or the tragic truth? Thanks! Becca xxx

Hi,

Our International Teams are currently dealing with queries received on 21 March 2023 (for someone in an EU country) or 14 February 2023 (for someone in a country outside of the EU).  So unfortunately, there will be a delay in processing your CF83 application form.
