Hi, I have 44 years of full national insurance payments but am not receiving a full state pension? 20 years of these payments were while working for the NHS and I understand the pay a reduced NI. How can I check I am receiving the correct state pension? Thank you

Hi Hockeyhouse55 Osb,
•    You can view your State Pension Forecast online by using the 'Check Your State Pension Forecast this will show:
o    if there are any gaps you can pay in your National Insurance
o    an estimate of how much you could pay
•    You may be able to make payment online using this service
•    To access the service, go to GOV.UK and search 'Check your State Pension forecast' and follow the instructions on the site Check your State Pension forecast- GOV.UK

Alternately contact the Pension Service on 0800 7317898 however please note the lines are currently extremely busy and there maybe a longer wait time to answer your call.
Thank you.
