Hello Looking for some help on how to get my self assessment form to calculate class 2 NI as its currently showing none due which isn’t right. Situation is: * Have been filling in self assessment for property income for a few years, so this hasn’t included NI * During the 22/23 tax year I finished one full time PAYE employment, spent a few months as a self employed freelancer before then starting a new full time PAYE employment * I’ve filled in, but not yet submitted my self assessment, including self employment dates. * Have recently filled in form CWF1 to register becoming self employed, but I can’t put the end dates in for when I stopped being self employed. What do I need to do next to register the end of my self employment and make self assessment include class 2 NI correctly? Many thanks!

Hi
You will not be able to do that.  You will need to telephone the NIC helpline at 0300 200 3500, to pay any voluntary NIC and to register for NIC, so that it can be collected in future through your tax return.
