My Company allows employees to work remotely from abroad for up to 25 working days. These days don't have to be consecutive, meaning I can go one week in January, two days in March, two weeks in July, and so on. I have dual citizenship British and Italian (and 2 passports), I am a UK resident and the country I will be occasionally working from is Italy. I filled out the A1 form but I'm not sure about some questions: 1.6 Nationality: they only allow to select one option, so I put only British. 2.1 Member State: not sure if they mean UK or Italy? 3.1 Status confirmation of your position: Not sure what to select here. I will work remotely from a private address for my Company, I won't be staying in another company office. Could you please help me answer the questions above? Could you also please tell me if I can fill out one A1 form for a long period (1-2 years) which would include all the short time working from Italy, or if I have to request it every time I travel to Italy? Thank you

Hi MariaC,
Based on the information provided it looks as though you are actually completing an A1.
The A1 can only be completed by a National Insurance/ Social security department.
You would need to complete an application form in order for HMRC to issue the A1.
It may be beneficial if you applied for the multi state A1.
For this form you would need to complete the CA8421, this form can be issued for up to 2 years.
While completing the application it will ask if you have more than one nationality, and therefore will allow you to supply both.
Thank you.
