I got my pension forecast and have submitted my CF83 form online but, according to the UKGov website, I won't hear from you until at least July this year. Do I have to make the payments before the April deadline or do I just wait to hear from you? Also, can I choose which years to pay if I can't afford to pay for all the gaps?

Hi,
Since you submitted your application before April 5 2025, we will continue processing it and will consider any tax years affected by this deadline.
You will still have the opportunity to make a payment, as long as you pay before the extended deadline dates provided in your response.
Additionally, please reach out to the DWP to determine if making payments will enhance your pension instruction on how to contact them will be included in your response.
Once you have made your payment for all applicable years, there’s no need to contact us again; we will allocate your payment to the relevant tax years.
However, If you wish to pay for one or specific tax years, Please let us know the tax years for which you have made payments, and we will inform our caseworkers about the specific allocation of these payments.
