I have worked all my life and deferred my state pension , I am 78 years old , my husband died , my daughter died, my circumstances changed and I am very short of money. I have been trying to claim my deferred State Pension for 4 months but have had no success . I have made 10 phone calls , written 5 letters , been left hanging on the phone for lengthy time periods , promised a call backs, it didn’t happen ! I completed my forms 4 months ago , they confirmed they received it but no one can tell me if or when I will receive payment or even the amount I am due . I have no idea how I can resolve this and get my money!! . I have phoned every number provided and written to all the addresses . Should I travel to Wolverhampton to the offices ??
