Hello, I'm a temporary resident in the United Kingdom on a youth mobility visa. The rules state I can leave and return at any time, and Im asumming I have to follow guidelines for countries based on my passport(Australian). I currently work full time for a UK based employer. Im a little confused about what the rules are for working abroad in other countries. Can I work while travelling in the schengen areas (following the 90/180 rules) then go back to the UK for a bit then work somewhere else again? Is there an amount of time you can be away from the UK before there are tax implications or is it entirely dependent on the destination of travel? Thankyou.

Hi,
The youth mobility scheme falls under 'visas and immigration' and is not a tax matter. We are unable to answer your question in this forum for that reason. You will need to contact the department responsible for the youth mobility scheme for advice.
Thank you
