Hi, Would appreciate some clarification please. If a Widow sells her property to move into Permanent care will she still be entitled to The RNRB of £175k upon death? Also would the £175k RNRB of her decased husband still be applicable in these circumstances despite the fact that he never Lived in her current home but as the funds were used from the sale of the home they did reside in for the purchase? The Widow has moved twice since her husbands death using the funds from the house they jointly lived in prior to her husbands death. Thank you.

Hi, just rang the number you gave me and it appears even the most basic of questions is "tax planning". We are not planning, moving into care is not planning. I'm just trying to find out what the law is and how she may be effected. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated Thank you
