Hi, My former employer intentionally miscalculated taxes on my "in lieu of notice payment" of 2 months calculating taxes like if I received a raise that made my income 2.5 times higher, therefore making pay much more taxes and placing me in a different tax bracket. Furthermore they used an outdated tax code even I told them that my tax code changed and provided evidence of such a claim. Lastly, they reported a higher income that what they actually sent me the following month. What should I do? This is clearly an attempt for them to create distress as I perusing a Employer Tribunal Tax claim against them for other reasons.
