I have been a resident in the UK for 7 years and I have settled status. I am originally from Europe. I work for a company in the UK that allows flexible working. Due to some changing circumstances, I need to go back home, however, I might try and propose to my employer to change my contract and allow me to work from my home country completely. I would still return to the UK every 2 months or so, for 7 to 10 days at a time. I would like to know if I would still be considered a UK resident and how would that affect the taxes I will have to pay. What does my employer need to do on their end to make this work? Thank you

Hi,
Please refer to: Tax on your UK income if you live abroad.
