ERS Penalty - on time filing

Hello, We're an agent and filed a handful of ERS returns (some nil returns, some with activity). All of them were filed on time, mostly in May but HMRC have issued penalties to all of the clients. We have some clients that file their own, and they've also been issued penalties. Has this happened to anyone else?!

I will escalate this as we have had a few cases with the same issue. In the meantime please write into the address on the letter and advise them that you beleive the penalties are incorrect . Thank you.
