We had missed to apply for the employers allowance for a number of years; so ended up submitting a batch all in one go. We submitted ahead of the 5/4/2022 deadline, but the HMRC system crashed at that time. (we have email trails from HMRC confirming this). Y our system then acknowledged most of the claims but ignored one of them as the HMRC system only managed to acknowledge it after the 5/4 deadline. I have phoned about this numerous times, always being assured that it would be corrected. But it hasnt been. HMRC keep sending me letters to say that I owe outstanding NI and PAYE. I dont. We are fully up to date, it is your system that hasnt updated.
