The latest update of the software behaves unhelpfully. When I print an Employee pay and deductions record it automatically saves a pdf. That's fine. But it saves in portrait orientation and so loses the right hand column. How can I make it print in landscape orientation?

I have similar on pressing print .. it no longer does it only saves it… it should still print.. they have made this more difficult… on ringing to ask about it.. have to send a back up copy and other technical stuff… beyond my skills .. why when the operator can see the issue can’t they just report it without all the faff and my time… if we can no longer print from the screen the print button should not be acquit should be save only.. the operator I spoke to was non pleased and frankly dismissive.. ridiculous! Someone was paid to do the update… it’s wrong.. and they should take queries much easier.

Since installing the latest update, when I print, it automatically wants to "save to pdf". I cannot select what printer I want to use. And if I save to pdf, its always in portrait with no option to change to landscape

I am also experiencing the same problem with the print option going straight to 'Save PDF ' and not to a 'print' window. The PDF is portrait only orientation with the updated PAYE Tools version 25.0.25073.211. Phoned the HMRC help desk yesterday - could not help me so they told me to send an email - gave me the email address , so I sent that off . No reply as yet, hoping the email address is correct. Lets hope HMRC it gets resolved quickly. ;-)

When clicking print payslip it just saves to PDF and there are no options to change it back in the software. This is frustrating as with quite a few employees it takes too long saving and then having to print them Anyone managed to sort a fix for this issue?

The old print function on BPT worked perfectly well the current one does not. The instructions for printing forms in the guide still gives the old method and I thought I might be able to get round the issue by exporting the payslip to CSV but that doesn't work at all and gives an internal error which refers me back to the home page. I have also tried to print the Employer Payment Record which is a 25 column page and the download only includes the first 13 columns. Please can someone put the print button back to how it used to work.
