In 2022 I registered for a DPNI Scheme because I'm employed by a Dutch company with no presence in the UK. The owner of the company has two business entities in the Netherlands, and the one that currently employs me will cease to exist in the near future, so my employment will "transfer" to the other entity. My Business tax account only shows my personal name and address; the Dutch company name and address aren't mentioned anywhere except in my Basic PAYE Tools where I could change the name easily. But when applying for the DPNI Scheme, I did fill in a questionnaire where I entered the Dutch company details, so I'm guessing I need to do more than just change the name in the Basic PAYE Tools software. Could you please advise what needs to be done? The only thing that will change is the company name, the address will stay the same. Thanks in advance! Anna

Hi Anna,
You will need a new DPNI scheme. Under your current PAYE reference, you will need to make yourself a leaver and then close the scheme and then set yourself up as a new starter on the new scheme.
Thank you.

Hi Admin, Thank you for your response. If I understand correctly, I have to leave my current job by following this guide: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/basic-paye-tools-what-to-do-when-an-employee-leaves/basic-paye-tools-when-an-employee-leaves And following that, I would need to phone the Employer's helpline to close the current scheme and setup a new scheme? And I assume I have to setup a new Government Gateway business account as well? Thank you! Anna
