Commercial Vehicle and Business Mileage Rates

Hi If an employee has a company commercial vehicle (Van) and the the company does not provide fuel, what business rate do we pay him for claiming back business miles. Do we use the AFR For cars? Regards

The advisory fuel rate only applies to company cars not vans. The employer will therefore have to review their records and calculate the business/private split on a fair and reasonable basis ensuring that any repayment reflects the whole of the expense and does not represent a profit in the hands of the employee.
