Hello, I have sent my P85 form by post via tracked delivery. The first time, three weeks ago, the envelope got lost or retained somewhere (Royal mail couldn't explain why and I got a refund) and a second time last week, again it seems it is not being delivered. I'm wondering whether it could be due to the fact that the address indicated on the P85 form (Pay as you earn BX9 1AS) does not provide signature for the items received. If I don't manage to solve the issue with Royal Mail, what can I do? I am not a UK citizen therefore I don't have the required documents to create an online account on the HMRC website. Also, I'm leaving the country very soon and I won't be able to call HMRC from abroad. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi ElisaP87,
That is the correct address for HMRC post so the Royal Mail will be able to deliver your P85 form.
If you have not yet had a reply to your P85 you would need to contact HMRC to check on the progress:
Income Tax: general enquiries
Thank you.
