I registered online on 6th November to add a payroll scheme for my new limited company and have not had any reply, letter, email or any communication. I have a reference number that was generated online and I have called HMRC but with 25 minute waiting on speaking to someone, I have not been able to get through. Is this normal? How long does it usually take to get the scheme set up and be advised of all the relevant reference numbers? I've done this before for clients and its not taken this long.
