Refund of paid penalty

I have made a payment for a penalty owing to late filing of PAYE. I appealed and received a letter confirming the penalty has been cancelled. I can't see any thread that mention how I can get the refund. I'd like to know how to get the refund for the payment I made. Thanks.

This may now show as a credit on your account, if you contact us on 0300 200 3200 you may be able to request this is refunded.
