Final payment date after leave date in basic PAYE tool

my employee left on 22 April but the final payment is on 28 April 2023, i have already submitted payroll in basic PAYE tool on 28 April 2023, shall i still mark the leave date on 22 April 2023?

If you mark them as a leaver on 22/04 then all payments after this would have to marked as payments after leaving. The BPT most likely wont let you submit a date after the last payment date so you will probably have to use the 28/04 as leaving date.
