When and how to advise HMRC if leaving UK permanently

I will be leaving the UK permanently in August 2024; I file self assessments and will also need to do so for the 2025 tax year (presumably on a split year basis?) because I will receive income up until my departure.

You can inform us when you file your 24/25 tax return.
Tax if you leave the UK to live abroad
