Hello, I am about to take on 2 part time jobs and freelancing work, and I'm wondering how this will work in terms of how my tax and NI contributions will be calculated. My total income over the 3 sources won't be over £40,000. How do I include this on the self-assessment form so HMRC know that I will also have paid tax on 2 other jobs? I'm worried about getting emergency taxed but also equally worried about not paying enough and ending up with a big bill! Any help and advice would be great. Thanks so much!

Hi,
When you complete your Self Assessment form for the year, include your pay and tax from your two part-time employments in the 'Employments' section. This will ensure you pay the right tax on your freelance income. If you would like to discuss the codes operated at your two part time jobs, you can contact us by webchat or phone.
