foreign dividends

when saving the foreign dividend amount and the tax taken off it gives me a warning. however when I go to 'check your return' there is no 'warning' displayed against dividends. If I return to dividends the warning is not there until I select save again, then the Foreign Dividend box illuminates red. I enter 31 in Dividends and 8 in Tax taken off as per the dividend voucher. What am I doing wrong?
