Pension provider not using tax code

Hi, having recently started receiving a pension (01/04/2024), I can see on the HMRC app, that the tax code assigned to the pension is 1296L however I have been taxed on my pension, with the pension provider using tax code OT. Having spoken with the provider, they have stated HMRC have not informed them of the tax code to use, how long will this normally take for the provider to be informed to use the correct tax code?

Normally the amended code would be received online within 3 working days.
