Hello Admin, I am a retired civil servant from Hong Kong. I receive pension every month from the Hong Kong government. Do I need to declare it in my self assessment tax return and pay tax on it? Thank you.

Hi lwk,
Under Article 17 of the DTA, the pension from Hong Kong is not liable in the UK.
It shoud however be referred to as an additional note and that Article 17 applies.
Thank you.
