When are tax refunds paid following tax returns

How long after confirmation of tax return before refunds are paid?

Hi Andrew,
Once issued if going to your bank account 5-10 working days.
If being issued by cheque 2-3 weeks.
If the repayment is selected for security checks it can take longer.
