Hi, Hope you are well. I am writing to seek clarification regarding the requirement to file a Self Assessment form. My income for 22/23 is well below my personal tax allowances, but I want to ensure that I am complying with all necessary tax obligations. My financial situation is as follows: 1. UK Savings Interest: Approximately £1,000 2. Overseas Savings Interest: Approximately £1,500 (pound equivalent) 3. Overseas Dividends: Approximately £2,500 (pound equivalent) I have no other sources of income besides the mentioned savings, investments and isa accounts, and my total earnings from them do not exceed my personal tax allowances. Given the details above, could you kindly advise me on whether it is necessary for me to file a Self Assessment form for this tax year? If not required, I would like to confirm that I can be exempted from filing or should I inform HMRC in writing about my finanail situation instead? Thank you for your advice. Kind regards,

Hi
Yes a tax return is required due to your foreign income.
Thankyou.
