I have been resident and working in France since Dec 2018. I have been receiving a small UK private pension during this time on which I have been paying both UK & French tax. I have completed Form "France Individual DT" & sent it, signed & stamped by the French tax authority, to HMRC on the 30th May 2022. I have not heard from HMRC and tax is still being deducted at source. What further actions do I need to take in order to reclaim the overpaid tax? Can I do this via my self-assessment form (which I have been completing due to rental income in the UK) and , if so, do I need to wait until I am told to do so by HMRC.?
