P800 and Self Assessment

I received a P800 which has to be paid by 31/01/24 but I have now done a Self Assessment - does the money I have to pay for my Self Assessment return cover the sum the P800 said I owe? Or do I still need to pay both?

The tax return cancels out the P800 so the tax due will be on the self assessment figure.
