Paying self assessment tax part cash part direct debit

Hello, I can't afford to pay £8,378 in cash unless I get that much for Xmas...which is doubtful. Could I use the slip and change the amount so some paid in cash, the rest transferred?

Ah I asked a question that wasn't about affordability. I asked can I pay part in cash and part via direct debit? The letter I got only had the full amount of the bill on there. Can I use the slip to do part payment in cash?
