Hi. I am trying to workout my taxes and NIC if I work temporarily from abroad for a UK based company as an employee. I will be working for at least 7 weeks (35 working days, 49 calendar days) from my home address in the UK in the tax year 2025/2026 and the remain 45 weeks of the year from Portugal. I don't have home in Portugal as I will be staying at my parents. Because I will be staying more than 183 days in Portugal, I will be considered tax resident in there. But also, from the Statutory Resident Test, I will be tax resident in the UK. Do I need to tell HMRC I am working temporarily from overseas (45 weeks)? How is my income taxed? And how about NIC? Thanks
