Hi, I am a Singaporean who left UK in 2003 after my UK employment ended. I have been residing in Singapore since then. I understand that as a non-UK resident I don't need to pay tax on my pension. (https://www.gov.uk/tax-on-pension/tax-when-you-live-abroad#:~:text=If%20you're%20not%20a,be%20taxed%20in%20the%20UK.) I just turned 55 years old this September and understand that I can withdraw 25% tax-free lumpsum from my pension. However, I am considering withdrawing the remainder 75%. Will I be taxed on this 75%? If not, how do I apply(if needed) for non-tax code? Thanks, Frederick

Hi,
You will need to print off and complete the DT individual form at:
Double Taxation: Treaty Relief (Form DT-Individual once you are in receipt of your pension.
The completed form, should show details of your UK pension.  You would then send the form to the Singapore tax authorities to validate.
They will return the form to you and you then send the validated form to HMRC, so that we can repyay any tax deducted from your pension.
Thank you.
