Overpaid tax on dividend

I was submitting salary and dividend income through quickbooks, not realising that I was being taxed at a basic rate on my dividend income as well. I've requested a refund via HMRC but no action has been taken and I've had no comms from them. Is it possible to get the £1500 refunded?
