Hello, My parents are residents of the Netherlands and I’m a resident of UK. My parents want to send me, their son, 50.000 euro from their bankaccount to me. Are there any taxes to be paid by me or my parents? Thanks very much!

Hi,
There are no Income Tax implications on the receipt of a cash gift unless the cash gift generates interest or dividends. These would then potentially be subject to tax. Further guidance can be seen here:
Tax on savings interest
Tax on dividends
Thank you.
