I got made redundant in June taking an £18k lump sum. I've since got a new job, and my PAYE estimate in my HMRC account shows the total income across both jobs which looks correct, but the estimate doesn't mention the £18k tax free. I believe I'm paying too much tax through PAYE. Should I call HMRC up and get this value updated to be £18k less as I believe I could be paying income tax on this £18k when it's not due. Thanks
