I am a UK resident and will be receiving a securities gift in the form of ETF's from my father who is resident in Hong Kong. The ETFS (VUSA and EQQQ) are domiciled in Ireland and the funds although traded on the LSE are being sent as a gift from Hong Kong. Am I correct in assuming that this would not be liable to UK inheritance tax? Thanks
