Hi, I have recieved a repayment cheque for Income Tax. However I live abroad and I don't have the possibility to cash it into my foreign bank account. But I still have a UK bank account (virtual bank). Is there any way I can receive the money by a bank transfer to this account instead? Thank you in advance.

Hi Iael Perez,
If you still have a UK bank account you can contact the bank for details of how to pay the cheque into your account.
Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. As my UK account is in a virtual bank (Wise) I cannot pay the cheque into this account. Is there any way I can receive the money by a bank transfer?? Thank you!

Hi,

Bank transfers can only be sent to UK accounts. We can reissue the cheque to a nominee appointed by yourself, who can then transfer the money to you.
To arrange this you can contact our Income Tax team below.
