Hi there. I work for a UK company on a 100% remote basis. I never need to come to the UK and have not been back in the UK since I moved to UAE. Although im still fully employed in the UK and have my wages paid into my UK account, my understanding is that as i meet the automatic non resident test, then everything i earn in the UK is NON taxable as long as i never spend a day in the UK. Is this correct ? And if so, am i also correct in saying that if i had to come back to the UK say for 10 days working then i WOULD have to pay tax on those 10 days i spent at work in the UK through a self assessment ? Thanks in advance.
