I'm a basic rate tax payer and have a number of current & savings accounts with UK financial institutes that will result in me exceeding my £1000 Personal Savings Allowance for interest paid in the current tax year (24/25). I understand that the financial institues will notify HMRC of interest paid in the current tax year after 5th April 2025 and that my tax code will be adjusted for 25/26 to cover the interest earned over the £1000 limit. Will I be able to see how much interest is being reported by the financial institutes in my Personal Tax Account or on my HMRC App?
