Ni38 class 2 contributions

Morning, I have around 14 years of paid NI contributions before I moved to the United States as a permanent resident. I plan to return permanently to the UK in the next 10 years. I have applied for class 2 contributions via form ni38 . I work for a local goverment agency in Florida and make social security contributions.. Am I likely to be legible for class 2 contributions based on this information ? Thanks
