I have been retired about 15 years. My only personal income is state pension which for the year 2022 -23 came to £13,240. I am married. I can’t remember but l think l claimed Marriage Allowance when working to enable me to share my tax relief with my non-income generating wife. As my wife was a foreign national before marriage and did not have uk income, she did not have any PAYE credit. As such, the only pension she gets is a small one based on my NHI contributions. My query is: How can I tell if the marriage tax allowance sharing continues now that l am just a state pensioner and, if it does, can I offset part of my state pension income to my wife, in order to reduce my personal tax liability
