I have been trying to complete a full transfer of my S&S ISA that I opened 2 years ago, however my transfer request has been rejected twice by my old provider as being unclear, even though I have called and told them I want a full transfer. I had paid in to the older ISA a small amount this tax year but as I was looking to do a full transfer I thought this was ok. However due to the delay I have accidentally paid into my new ISA before the transfer was complete, which I now understand is not allowed, but was unaware at the time. I have stopped payments into both accounts for the time being. Should I complete the transfer in full as previously planned? I am unsure what action I need to take, but the amount across both accounts is less than £200.

Hi etd01,
This will be reviewed at the end of the tax year and HMRC will write to you if any corrective action is needed.
Thank you.
