I gather that rental income is generally considered unearned income. Is this true for short term rentals eg managing one's own air bnb? Context of the question is, If it is unearned, then i understand that cannot be utilised vis-a-vis SIPP contributions, but it it were 'earned' then it could. many thanks

Hi,

Income from UK property letting is classed as relevant earnings for pension contributions.

Thank you.
